#96 Fcommunties the new forum hybrid for forum adminstrators owner FluffyBunny interviewed
Today (9th of July) Aaron does a interview with me about his new project:Fcommunties. FluffyBunny is a 19 year old male from New Zealand. His site launched on the 5th of July and got already to 2k post on the 8th of July, 3 days after. After installing a mod the forum got destroyed on phpbb and they moved to MyBB. With premium mods and a theme + the whole feel of Fcommunties sitll intact, this site seems to have a bright future ahead as a new hybrid forum.
Note: For those of you who don’t know what a hybrid forum is, its a combination of offering promotion services with graphic services, a “all in one forum” for webmasters.
1. Max Pen: How did you come up with the name Fcommunities? And why did you launch the site on a .net and not a .com domain? Did you have any other name in mind if the .net or .com domain were taken?
Fluffybunny: It was a bit of brainstorming. I had a few idea’s in mind but nothing interested me. I thought Forum Communities was a good one but it would clash too much with PhpBB Communities. But it was still a community for forums so I felt the need to have ‘Communities’ in it somewhere.
2. Max Pen: Is your forum the closest to being a hybrid forum or a admin/webmaster & promotion forum?
Fluffybunny: A bit of each. I planned for it to originally be a full hybrid but I decided to make it more administration than just hybrid. Though we do have a bit of each thing on the board as we have a
number of different MODs such as Gallery, Knowledge Base. So it’s each person’s decision what they would like to call it.

A talk with Michael Swanson. A fourteen year old male from Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. He shares with us his struggle to get accepted for who he is and sexual preferences.
What makes this a rather special interview is that he is a LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) person. He also owns a forum named Pokemon Tundra.
(1.) Max Pen: What are the general views of people who live in Alaska and the place you live yourself about people who are gay,lesbian,etc…?
Michael Swanson: I guess it all just depends on the person. There are people here who are strictly religious, then there are those who couldn’t give a crap of who you are and who you like. Luckily, my friends couldn’t care less about who I am. The weird thing about it all is that it is the only thing that most people in my school think is the most spectacular thing about me when really it is just one of those meager things about a person.
(2.) Max Pen: Do you know other people who are like you or are gay,lesbian? What is the current status in Alaska of those people getting equal rights?
Michael Swanson: I know a lot of people who are gay/lesbian. Particularly here in Alaska, I don’t know a lot because they tend to hide their sexual preferences from society. The current status of LGBT equal rights, again, small, but working its way up.

Interview with Aglaia Koras concert pianist
Aglaia Koras is a female concert pianist who is around 40 years old and lives in Bethesda, Maryland. She has roots from Greece and preformed in 7 countries. Currently she plays at Carnegie Hall in New York. She is historically linked to Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Cortot.
She started to compose and play the piano at the age of 3. Aglaia Koras studied at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadlephia.

♪1.♪ Max Pen: How did you get involved so early at the age of 3 into composing and playing the piano? What is your earliest performance you can remember?
Aglaia Koras: There’s a special memory attached to that. When I was three years old, my father earned a large bonus and gave it to my mother to spend anyway she wanted. Mother wanted both a new piano and a fur coat but opted to buy the piano.
When I saw that beloved piano, it was love at first sight! I became totally fascinated by it. It became my best friend and most avid occupation from then on. We were inseparable; we never became unglued!
I began playing, without any instruction, every piece I liked that I heard
on the radio, television, in recordings and in live performances. I also began to compose my own music right then and there on the spot. My mother, who had been trained as an opera singer and pianist, became my first piano teacher. My aunt, who was skilled in composition and harmony, as well as piano and violin, helped me write down the pieces I had composed.
Soon, they sent me to the best teacher they could find, who told them I had great talent.
I was performing as early as I can remember. I can remember playing and performing before I remember doing almost anything else!
